I got a twitter account so I can receive updates from my lacrosse coach while we are on our trips (so I can know if game times change or where to meet once we get to the tournament ect.) I went under devices and entered my number, then twitter gave me a code and a number to send the code to. I have done this multiple times and I haven't gotten any message back. I don't know what to do, please help!

I've been disabled due to 3 failed spine surgeries and am now unable to work. My pain management doctor has retired and I am finding most doctors are refusing to take chronic pain patients. I was looking for a way to make my own personal Twitter client for windows.
I was hoping to have the basic log in and such.
Display the tweets, add new tweets, use messages, mentions, etc.
I want it to be small and compact, too. Like the Ada client. Thats almost perfect for me, I just want to make my own.
Any way how to? I found a ridiculously easy video, but it was for macs only.
