I recently opened a dot.com business on the internet selling diet/nutritional products. The company I am a distributor for has told me they will send me a check to use on advertising and they are in the process right now of determining how large a check they will cut. There is a tremendously strong market in my area for this specific product and I'm already having success. I definetly want to run ads in a few of the small town papers outside of Nashville. The ads are cheap. Nashville, however, is another story. Ads can get quite costly. Should I target the general public and place my ad in the Nashville City paper or should I target parents, primarily women, by placing it in the Nashville Parent magazine? This would be an ad run IN ADDITION to the Nashville Tennessean city paper.

i found some online ways to make money and they look legit. but my parents are too quick to judge and say its a scam before they even check out what its really about. how can i convince them that it might not be a scam and to be more open minded about letting me try it?

I’m developing a family program using 2 separate but related family classes; 1. Parenting; and 2. Health and Wellness, (a MLM Co.) both are 1 hr. each. Classes meet once a week for 12 weeks & with family "money" and "time management" as important side issue(s) & topic(s). My business hours are 9am-9pm with 4 / three hr. session blocks of time during the day to accommodate most parents’ schedules. I am available 24/7/30 but my work week is Mo., Tu., Wed., & Thu., only. No classes will be provided by me during the 4th week of the month because of other related business issues that have to be attended to. The cost for both programs is .00 per mo. for 1or 2 individuals & 0.00 per mo. for families, a married couple, "man & wife", + 2 children. An after school "Fun & Skills" program with attached and attending parents is also included from 3-6pm daily. Parenting classes are free to parents who are building their family businesses. Also, once a month local camp outs are included.

For the past year I have been scouring the internet for some sort of lead to a legitimate and profitable home business. Some that I have found are either too high in cost (for me, at least), or they don't feel right (they just look like a scam to get my money), or there just isn't enough information. I'm willing to put in some elbow grease. I really am! But I need a great product and a legitimate company that can back it up. I'm only 23 years old, but I understand that I want to be able to do the things that my parents never did and I want to make sure that my family has the things that we never had growing up. If anyone could please help me out….It's well appreciated!
